The Coffee Bistro

Where It all Started

Established in 1991 as “The Coffee Bistro”, the business flourished and grew to triple its capacity and thus was born “Cinnamon Alley Café” established in 2002. A larger enterprise enabled me to satisfy our customer virtues and vices in terms of growing and developing my enthusiasm for great tasting food.

Cooking is my hobby!

My Love Of Food

Cooking with the seasons is both my career and my hobby. How lucky am I to have chosen such a happy career path? No season is ever the same...
Fresh Spring rain brings inspiration for soups of roasted spring carrot and split yellow peas, or maybe a rich buffalo mozzerella, basil pesto and mediterranean vegetable bruschetta.
Warm Summer sunshine.. and crisp fried aubergine, thyme, goats milk cheese and honey quiche teamed with a nostalgic domestic science class swiss roll of fresh cream and raspberry jam.
Fresh Autumnal garden smells welcomes ideas of butternut squash, smoked bacon, parsley and parmesan tarts and baked pear or apple and blackberry crumble.
Cold winter evenings, my favourite time in the kitchen, inspires warm bakes, stews and casseroles, followed by poached apples, ginger and anise recipes, creamy crisp topped bread and butter puddings and rich chocolaty traybakes. and puddings
